Care Instructions

At West Mill Design Co, we understand the importance of preserving the beauty and integrity of your handcrafted furniture. Here are some simple guidelines to ensure your pieces remain in pristine condition for years to come:

1. Dust regularly: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently remove dust and debris from your furniture's surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.

2. Protect from sunlight: Direct sunlight can cause wood to fade and become discolored over time. To preserve the natural beauty of your furniture, avoid placing it in areas where it will be exposed to prolonged sunlight.

3. Use coasters and trivets: To prevent water rings and heat damage, always use coasters or trivets under hot or cold beverages and dishes. Wipe up any spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth.

4. Maintain humidity levels: Wood furniture is sensitive to changes in humidity, which can cause it to warp or crack. Keep your home's humidity levels consistent, and consider using a humidifier or dehumidifier as needed.

5. Avoid extreme temperatures: Excessive heat or cold can also damage wood furniture. Avoid placing your pieces near heating vents, radiators, or air conditioning units, and keep them away from sources of direct heat, such as fireplaces or stoves.

By following these simple care instructions, you can ensure that your West Mill Design Co furniture remains a cherished part of your home for years to come. If you have any questions or concerns about caring for your pieces, don't hesitate to contact us for assistance. We're here to help you preserve the beauty and longevity of your handcrafted furniture.
